Whole-pod performance and material ratings

A rating for a wall panel, glass or internal finish does not describe the performance of a complete enclosure. Check the test method, the tested model and configuration, and what the stated result measures.

Plan for the real office

Speech level, background noise, placement and the way the door is used all affect the experience. Discuss sensitive conversations and any specific privacy requirement before treating a pod as suitable for that use.

Keep terminology precise

Sound absorption within a pod and reduction of sound transmitted outside it are different properties. Read the supporting test evidence with the specification rather than assuming that a soundproof label means complete silence.
